Comment by Mike Brady on 2008-12-01 21:02:45 Not sure who this self-styled academic is, but follow the links to the supporting evidence and you will see that is just what it is - evidence. Including peer-reviewed articles, Nestlé's own materials (see it with your own eyes) and information from people on the ground who witness Nestlé's business practices in action.
Anyone can comment on this site and it links to Nestlé's own site and specific documents.
Bear in mind too that Nestlé refuses to debate with Baby Milk Action (since losing those it did agree to attend 4 years ago), it refused to attend a Public Hearing called by the European Parliament into its baby food marketing activities, it refused to attend a tribunal in Switzerland into its trade-union busting activities in Colombia, it has refused to even set out its terms and conditions for taking part in an independent expert tribunal into its activities and so on.
Campaigners have nothing to fear from debate. It is Nestlé that refuses to engage in it. So look to the evidence and make up your own mind.
on 2008-11-29 19:46:28 I caution readers that this site does a disservice to the public. Promoting breast feeding is admirable and should continue whole-heartedly. However, presenting misleading or half-truths about Nestle (or any infant formula manufacturer) does not further the health of children in this country or elsewhere. I work in academia (not industry) and it is essential for facts to be presented in a forum where many experts can comment (representatives from academia, healthcare, and industry). Sites like this one do just the opposite and no one can make a decision to boycott or promote anything related to infant nutrition from reading information solely from this site.
on 2008-11-23 14:51:30 when you are stoping this site? We are pained to see the -ve propaganda from ill informed people...... Ok, guys. You are enjoying the freedom of expression. Fine one day some one shall alunch a site "friends of Nestle'" Cheers
Comment by Ann in the UK on 2008-10-06 10:39:56 What an excellent idea to round up all of Nestle's ruthless and underhanded activities and put them all under one handy little link! Well done to all involved. That makes it so much easier to pass it all on!
Comment by Mandie Groves on 2008-10-02 20:13:33 Well done Mike ! Keep up the good work - Everyone should spread the word and Boycott NESTLE

Comment by Steph. Pennells on 2008-09-29 18:22:04 Nastier and Nestlier!
ATTAC Switzerland has taken notice with great satisfaction of the civil court's president Jean-Luc Genillard's decision of 25 January 2013 in the case «Nestlegate». The Court has convicted NESTLE and SECURITAS AG of spying activities directed at ATTAC. It has recognized that these parties conducted illegal infiltrations. The claimants have been entitled to a financial compensation, since their personal rights have been violated. NESTLE and SECURITAS AG have been ordered to pay a financial compensation of 3,000 Swiss francs (3,238 US dollars) per claimant (a total of 27,000 Swiss francs = 29,145 US dollars = 18,570 pounds sterling).
